Back in action baby!

Whats up everyone?

Christmas is over, well, not really over but lets face it, after Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, it's just over.

So hope ya'll got some nice presents and over all had a nice and pleasant Christmas.

Tomorrow i'll be back with the usual stuff, you know complaining about stuff and just being a pain the ass.

Now I'm gonna get a good night sleep. Take my advice, you get some sleep too.

Nighty Nighty

Saturday, December 22

Ho-Ho-Ho

Well guess what, Christmas is...well i've said it many times but now it's actually right around the corner!

So get yer shit toghether and wipe those frowns off ya face and enjoy the holiest of all holidays, Christmas! If you happen to belong to one of those religions where you don't celebrate christmas, then all I can say is enjoy whatever it is that you're celebrating, if anything.

I will be going away for a couple days, spending christmas with relatives. Hopefully Santa did check my wishlist this year, otherwise... well I won't be very happy.

To honor Denis Leary, who suggested that everyone should have "the twelwe hot wish sticks of christmas"

Meaning that you have 6 Good Wishsticks, and 6 Secret Evil Plan Wishsticks.

Without explaining, i'll just write them down.

6 Good Wishsticks:

1. Christmas
2. Guitar/Music
3. The Shield(the tv-series)
4. The Joker(from the Dark Knight movie)
5. Heath Ledger(for acting The Joker on the Dark Knight movie)
6. Beer

6 Secret Evil Plan/Bad Wishsticks(basically things that I hate/despise)

7. Arrogancy/Ego(the worst quality in any person)
8. Females who are indecisive(can't make up their mind)
9. My haircut.(it's awful, look at it once, you'll never want to look again)
10. Computers(thanks to them, I have high blood pressure)
11. "Finlandssvenska"(I just can't take it, I'm sorry)
12. My throat(thanks to the cold and my loud singing the other night, my throat wants to kill me.)

So that about covers it. Feel free to post your own 12 Wishsticks.

And remember, when New Years is closing, we'll be discussing what resolutions we should keep, and which we are gonna break.

Have a Merry Christmas you all! And remember! Take pictures, you're gonna need em for the court case!

Clowns, fetisches and beer

Oh holy day.

Don't know what that means that's just the first thing that came to me.

Christmas is gettin closer. I just love it how so many people get so stressed and run around christmas shopping and feeling burnouts and just systematically breaking down.
Meanwhile I just sit by the side and laugh and have myself drink.

I don't go around buying christmas presents, cause people don't expect me to. So why should I ruin their expectations? On the other hand those who expect me to, well they are gonna be some very dumb and disappointed people. They should know me better.

Of cooourse I'm just joking! ....Or not.

Anyhooo... My wierd thing for clowns is back again. Remember it was like 4 months ago when evil clowns were my drug, and now it's back. Bigger and badder(is that how it spells?).

The Joker...oh my so deliciously evil. All evil clowns really.

I have...uhh money problems aswell. Yes I was chocked too. One day you feel rich, the next day you sit and wonder where the hell did all that money go? Well I should blame myself, but it's more fun to blame other people so....SHAME ON YOU! Letting me spend all that cash!

What else is new....

Nah I think that's pretty much it. If this was a diary i'd write so many things you'd be thinking I was mentally unstable but, gotta keep coverin it up! So I'll just...put this smile on my face...there you go...and tell you all that the World Is A Beautiful Place! Enjoy it! While you can...

And then when it all goes to shit, don't be suprised.

Lesson of the day:

Don't get too attached to anything. If you do, when you lose that thing, eventually you do, the pain can be unbearable. Stay focused, know what you want and simply live the way you want to live!

Oh right, More Beer!

Late late late late Top 5 Week 52

Sorry sorry sorry I'm late late late late.

I know. I am ashamed of myself. Shameful, so shameful.

Ahhh well life sucks get a hat.

Let's get going!

.5 - Meat

There is ONE day, one day out of all days in the year that I look forward to the most. And that is christmas eve. Why? The presents? No. Santa? No. So I can spend time with my family? Hah, no.

It's the feast. The great christmas feast. Which usually means that there's a big ham or turkey just waiting to be eaten. Oh how I've waited so long. Finally, the day is getting near.

So todays fifth spot goes for meat, all kind of meat! What would we do without it!?

Apologies to all vegetarians, but I can't stop my feelings for your sake.

.4 - ESP EX-260

This has been for a long time on my "Get-it-or-kill-yourself" list, and it is with great hope, that I hope I will get it soon. Unfortunately money problems get in the way, thinking of selling something valuable that I have just to get it but...well...we'll see.

Anyways for those who don't know much about guitars, just go to number 3. For the others, well let's share our love for this model by drooling at another pic.

ESP EX-260

.3 - SVEPS

Okay so I owe A LOT for theese guys. SVEPS is a media-workshop, where people who don't have a job or don't study in school, can go and learn all kind of media related stuff. It's really a nice place for beginners who'd like to take a step into the media world.

And i've been working there quite a few times, most recently I was on work-practice(they send us out on that in our school, so we'll get work experience), and i've been working there now for about 7 weeks.

So I owe it to them to give them a shout out. And of course do a little PR for them. It's in swedish.

Visit their website and check it out! www.sveps.org

. 2 - Scrubs

I love this show so much, I would marry it. The characters, the script, the actors oh my It's just one of those things that will make me laugh anytime anywhere.

If you haven't seen this hysterically funny comedy show, do God a favour and watch it! Please life is too short to exist and not having seen it. <3 Scrubs <3 ...thats right, I went there.

. 1 - Heath Ledger/The Joker

Ahhhh...my current idol. Words can't describe the feeling I got when I watched the new trailer for The Dark Knight. Ohhhh the laugh....the laugh of Heath Ledger, as the Joker is simply brilliant.

Just because of this performance(and i've only seen the trailer!), Heath has become one of my favourite actors. To be able to pull off something like this, requires A HELL OF A LOT, and he does it. Can't wait for the movie. Until then, enjoy the trailer.

"Let's put a smile on that face!"

Aftermath

As the sun goes down, and we sit and relax and look upon our day, we think.

Good News! Party was a sucess! Everyone seemed to have a good time, and of course someone drank too much, but that's just how parties should be.

I was a good boy and cleaned it all up, thankfully wasn't that hidious.

What else is up...

Ah! Christmas is getting closer. We're all getting in the christmas spirit I hope!

Though I'm not gonna go around buying christmas presents for my dearly beloved, I will send out happy thoughts to them. And as they say, it's the thought that counts.

There may be only one, or two people in this world whom I would feel happy to buy a christmas present to. But let's face it, no money, no funny. And I do need cash. So i'll just buy for that One person. What a lucky *beep*. Well he/she is worth it!

Oh yeah my neck is killing me! Yeah I headbanged wayyyy to much yesterday and...well today I'm paying my dues. But from what I can remember, it was totally worth it. So...metal up your ass!

What else...

Ahh, I don't know. Things are pretty messed up.

Let's see how was it, "Love hurts". Yes, but that's not everything. Love blinds you. Love makes you weak. Love confuses you. Love tortures you. But perhaps the most important thing...Love is wonderful.

Here's a pop quiz for you all. Give me an answer, and i'll surely mention your name somewhere.

"What do you do, when you've run out of patience, run out of hope, but still can't stop thinking and wishing that the person you think about is going to wake up and let you know that they feel the same thing?"

Communication is an important thing. Without it, how are you supposed to know how the other one feels? We're not mind readers, and you can't walk around hoping that we'll understand. You have to be honest, and you have to be courageous enough to confront your feelings.

Telling someone how you feel, no matter how scary it may seem, will make things easier for both of you. Even though it doesn't work out, at least in the end you can say "Hey, at least I was honest".

Without honesty, there's just lies left. And how the fuck are we supposed to live a happy life with lies?

Uncertainty is another thing. If you feel uncertain about your feelings. Dig deeper. They are there, you just haven't found them yet. Think about what you want, and what you don't want. Think about how this other person makes you feel, and how you wish he/she made you feel.

In the end, it all comes down to taking a chance. Life is too short to play it safe. Take a chance, see where it goes. That's the exciting thing about life, isn't it? Not knowing where you'll end up?

Okay that's enough. Hope this was of some use to you all in your lives. I surely hope it was to someone...

Party at Viator's Place

Well hello there!

Yes, there's a party at Viator's place, and everyone is invited! Hah, just kidding. You are not invited. Sorry but them are the rules.

Anyways I am hoping that everyone will have a good time, and most importantly, that I have a good time. Yes, sometimes it's good to be selfish. Don't you forget it.

With the refrigerator filled with beer and other drinks, now we're just sittin and waiting for the crowd.

May the Alcohol be with you.

Have a good saturday folks!

Some words of wisdom...

Hello everyone!

Just checkin' in here, thought I'll give you all some words of wisdom.

May they serve you, as well as they served me.

"

Why do people depend on eachother? In the end, you're on your own.

Nothing lasts in this world.

It's nice to have people that you can rely on, but that's what is so dangerous if you become used to it.

Someday you're bound to loose everything. It's ineviteable.

Women say goodbye to thongs!?!

Okay, so I read this article, where it was researched that women/girls today prefer other type of underwear to the thong.

So that means goodbye thongs!

Well, thankfully all porno movies still have the girls wearing thongs.

What would we do without the porn?

Here's the full article in swedish

Top 5 Week 51

Well hello. This is a little late, sorry haven't had time to write much.

I thought I'd do something different today. Instead of writing Top 5 things that I like, I thought I'd rank 3 things that I dislike. Three things that all you of should beware of.

Why? Because it's important to get out the bad stuff too. We don't live in a beautiful paradise where everything goes the way we want to.

.3 - Lack of cash flow

Basically what I mean with this, is that when the cash flow stops, when you look at your account and see wayyy to few numbers, something bad is going on.

And also the way things cost theese days, jeesus christ I mean cmon, everything is so ridiculously expensive that even rich people are whining! Well...

Anyway, more cash flow, please.

.2 - Getting emotional

I don't mean this, in a nice and romantic way, I mean that people whine about their emotions too much. Either they are sad, angry, depressed...it seems that everyone has theese problems. And they can't wait to tell you what it is. I know I may sound mean, but enough is enough.

They way I see it, handle yourself before you even start caring/bother with other people.

Love thy self, before anyone else.

.1 - Attention whores.

Yes, I said it. Attention whores. Nothing makes me wanna shoot myself more than theese pathetic little people, who crave attention and need to be fed compliments all the F***** time.

Actually they make me wanna shoot them too.

Seriosly, to all you people who crave attention so much:

You will eventually become so dependent on other people, that when you do become alone, and trust me, one day you will, you'll find yourself in the deepest and darkest holes of all. And hopefully nothing will bring you back out of it. Think about that.

The more you crave attention, the more you need it, the more you need it, the more you'll miss it when you don't have it. You can't have attention all the time, that's just how the world works.

Think you're special? Think you're one of a kind? Think the whole world is yours?

No. Wrong. Defintely wrong. You're one of the mass. A little ant among insects. You feel special cause that is a human emotion, to want to feel special. Everyone feels that. You're no different from them. Just because you say or do something that someone else doesnt, that doesnt mean they can't or will.

Do yourself a favour. Get back down to earth among the others. Skip the bragging, no one is impressed.

Life sucks, get a hat and join the party.

Good Night.

Top 10 Solos

Hello everyone!

Sorry I've been a little busy for the past few days but I'm here now, and instead of me babbling about me, let's get straight for todays point.

Solos!

What is it with solos? Why do we like em? Why don't we like em? It's a tough call.

Anyways here are 10 very likable solos, as we rank the Top 10 solos of all(which means ANY genre)

You might see a pattern, you might see something familiar, hopefully you'll se some suprises too.

Now as to WHAT exactly classifies as a good solo for me, it's like this. 90% The melody, 10% Technique/Speed

I don't care how fast you shred or sweep, the melody of the solo is whats most important. Otherwise it's just a crime to music. Without melody whats the point?

10. Metallica - Master Of Puppets - James Hetfield, Kirk Hammet

This solo needs no introducing. It's one of the best and beautifully composed. First Hetfields, which I think is better, then Kirks. And people wonder why MoP was their peak...

9. Dream Theater - Stream Of Consciousness - John Petrucci

Petrucci has been often voted as one of the worlds best guitarist, shredder aswell. Unfortunately I haven't seen a really good and beautiful solo from him yet. He's got the speed no doubt, but the melody lacks a little. But this song has a beautiful mix of both, speed and melody. I think there are two or three solos from him here. Very good ones.

8. Children Of Bodom - Follow The Reaper - Alexi Laiho, Roope Latvala

Alexi Laiho has much potential. It's just unfortunate that he too relies too much on the speed. But here, with Roope Latvala, both of them create a beautiful solo to a very good song. Very nice.

7. Pantera - Cemetery Gates - Dimebag Darrel

Dimebags solos are somewhat very special. It's why I like him, you can tell when it's him doing a solo. He managed to create is own style. Which makes him even better. I find that Cemetery Gates holds the best solo of him. Simply put, beautiful.

6. Judas Priest - Painkiller - Glenn Tipton

This is no news. I posted about a week ago that I had fell in love with this solo. And still do. It's amazing. Absolutely love it. Wonderful melody, beautiful arrangement. Great.

5. Fueled By Fire - Betrayal - Rick Rangel

So this band surely suprised me. Very good thrash band, if you get a chance listen to them. Their album Spread The Fire, debut album has some nice moments. But to the point, this song has got the best solo. It was one of those things, I was sittin', listening, the song came, nothing special, then solo kicked in and I jumped up. Amazing.

4. Iron Maiden - Fear Of The Dark - Dave Murray, Janick Gers

Janick Gers and Dave Murray, both amazing guitarist. And if I am gonna choose one song, for where they combine both of their greatness, Fear of the Dark is the one. Both solos have the ability to make me headband more than anything. And I love them for that. Two solos in one song, one of the best songs. Can you ask for more?

3. Metallica - Ride The Lightning - Kirk Hammet

Kirk, kirk. What else can you say. There's a reason why he is in the Top 5 of best guitarists of all time. On the album Ride The Lightning, he showed that he rule. This was his peak. And the song, proves it. His second best solo ever, in my opinion. From tapping to slow picking to shredding. Oh yes, that's what daddy likes.

2. Metallica - Fade To Black - Kirk Hammet

As I said, Ride The Lightning(album) was his peak. And Fade To Black, holds Kirks best work. The solo has got everything you could ask. It's structure, melody, speed it all just comes together as the best... I wanted to pick this as my number one, but since I have to be more open minded, that spot is for someone else.

1. Pink Floyd - High Hopes - David Gilmour

David Gilmour is one of my biggest idols. He's just amazing with a guitar. He's basically the reason I like Pink Floyd. And this song shows just what kind of guitarist he is. Makes me feel very little compared to him. As should other guitarist. That means you too Kirk!

The best solo ever.

Top 20 Rock Ballads

Alrighty-roo here comes a Top 20 Rock Ballads list for you all to glare at.

One thing should be mentioned; It's very difficult to define what is a "rock" ballad, and what is a "metal" ballad...and even what defines as a "ballad". So please keep that in mind while reading the list. Simply what I thought of was a rock/metal/heavy/power song, that feel like they could be called a ballad. I don't know. They're just some "softer" and "musical" songs.

20. Green Day - Time Of Your Life
19. Europe - Carrie
18. Toto - Africa
17. Chad Kroeger - Hero
16. Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
15. Whitesnake - Here I Go Again
14. In Flames - Come Clarity
13. Metallica - Turn The Page
12. In Flames - Square Nothing
11. Linkin Park - In The End
10. Guns N' Roses - November Rain

9. Nightwish - Sleeping Sun

I don't care who you are, but listening to this song is just magical. Not only does it have a personal meaning to me, but its just a beautiful song. And Tarja Turunens voice is amazing.

8. Heart - Alone

I quite like Heart. Actually one of the few "female vocalist" bands that I feel fond of.
Another song from Heart that I like is "Never". Check it out.

7. Pink Floyd - High Hopes

My favourite Pink Floyd song. David Gilmours solo is one of my favourite solos of all time, and this is just a exstatic song from the beginning to the end. Beautiful lyrics too.

6. Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven

Great songs always seem to have great solos. This one is no exception. Jimmy Page in your face. One of the best. And this song is probably the most well known song in the world. Everyone knows the beauty of Stairway To Heaven.

5. Megadeth - A Tout Le Monde

One of the few succesful Megadeth "ballads". But this song hits every single spot. Dave surely can sing in a beautiful tone too. Would be nice to hear more of this style from Megadeth.

4. Boston - More Than A Feeling

A classic. And I love it. No more needs to be said. Also one of the catchiest riffs ever.

3. Queen - The Show Must Go On

With Freddie Mercurys vocals and Brian Mays fantastic guitar playing, this is by far Queens best song. And one hell of a ballad. This song was recorded just a few months before Freddie died. Probably the best vocalist ever.

2. Aerosmith - Dream On

I was disappointed when listening to other Aerosmith songs, how they never could make such a masterpiece again that Dream On is. Well, at least there's one. And Dream On is not only one of my favourite songs of all, it's one of the best ballads out there. Steven Tyler, awesome vocals. Looks kinda gay though. But that doesnt hurt this song. Nothing does.

1. Metallica - Nothing Else Matters

I'm sorry but this was just inevitable. No other, I say no other band could EVER top what Metallica did 1990, when they sat in the recording studio and created the best ballad ever. I'd very much like to know what excactly was going through their heads when they wrote this. It is well known by almost everyone, and it's simple, yet complicated structure makes it the most beautiful song out there. The solo? Simple but amazing. The lyrics? Beautiful. Performance? I've never seen them live. However I did hunt around YouTube for clips, and the best performance to me, was in 1991, and for your pleasure, i'll embed it here. One more thing, I've seen a couple of clips from when they performed it in 2006-07, and to me it just seems that the spirit isnt there anymore. They just play it cause they have to play it. There's no love.

Thank goodness there are clips from the early days. This is for you. Cry and weep.

Top 30 Metal Songs

So time for some Top (any number) lists.

Was thinking of puttin' toghether a Top 30 Metal Songs. Theese are songs that I personally selected, and while the ranking was hard, I think I'm fairly certain this is how I feel. However I may change my mind in a couple of minutes.

If you haven't heard some of theese songs, by all means listen to them. You owe it to music.

30. Motorhead - Ace of Spades
29. Black Sabbath - War Pigs
28. Judas Priest - You've Got Another Thing Comin'
27. Dream Theater - Stream Of Consciousness
26. Guns N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle
25. Megadeath - Hangar 18
24. Slipknot - Wait And Bleed
23. Scorpions - Rock You Like A Hurricane
22. Pantera - Cowboys From Hell
21. Guns N' Roses - My Michelle
20. Korn - Freak On A Leash
19. Slayer - Raining Blood
18. Metallica - Seek & Destroy
17. Iron Maiden - Phantom Of The Opera
16. Children Of Bodom - Follow The Reaper
15. System Of A Down - Toxicity
14. Slayer - Dead Skin Mask
13. Metallica - Blackened
12. Black Sabbath - Iron Man
11. Pantera - Mouth For War

10. Dream Theater - Pull Me Under

This prog-metal band have for a long time had a big place in my heart. And it is with great joy that I still find this song to be one of the best ever. Petrucci is a master with the guitar, and this song proves that prog-metal kan kick serious ass.

9. Iron Maiden - The Number Of The Beast

Probably the biggest breakthrough for Iron Maidens career, and Bruce Dickinsons. This song has it all, great solo, great riff, and a chorus that kan make a room filled with Maiden fans bond like nothing else. Six six six!

8. Metallica - Creeping Death

If I had to chose one Metallica song, for which had the best bridge in the world...it would have to be Creeping Death. No song has an intermission like this between the solo and the last chorus. Not only is this song lyrically great, but the riffs are so beautiful that they make you shiver your spine. DIE BY MY HAND! I CREEP ACROSS THE LAND! KILLING FIRST BORN MEN! Oh yeah.

7. Black Sabbath - Paranoid

The best Black Sabbath song there is, and according to most lists of best song of all time, this one usually makes the cut. This song made metal what it is, and ask any new metal band, and they'll say that Paranoid has been one of the biggest influences of all. God is to Jesus, as Sabbath is to metal.

6. System Of A Down - Aerials

When SOAD released Toxicity, they sure made the music world spin. Implementing something new and fresh, SOAD quickly became a well known name, and one of the biggest metal bands of their time(2000). While their albums Hypnotize and Mezmerize were amazing, nothing tops the work from Toxicity, so say at least, Aerials is probably the best song of their genre, and heck, one of the best metal songs out there. This one will stick around for awhile.

5. Iron Maiden - Fear Of The Dark

The best Maiden song. I don't know why. I seriously don't know why. FOTD just has a special charm. The lyrics, amazing. The riffs, mind-numbing. The solos, exhilarating. Dave Murrays solo in particular is one that stays on my favourite solo list(which will be published soon). No other words can describe this amazing song.

4. Twisted Sister - I Wanna Rock

Oh how you couldn't see this one coming. I'm not a particular Twisted Sister fan myself, but this song is probably one of the biggest landmarks in the metal genre. No other song can make EVERYONE in a room yell out "I Wanna Rock". It's just that simple. The best party song out there for anyone who likes Rock. And let's face it, who doesn't?

3. Megadeath - Holy Wars...The Punishment Due

This baby made the cut to my Top 5 list of week 50, and of course it makes the cut to my top song list. As stated earlier, this song has so many awesome elements that it comes toghether as Megadeaths best song. The first 2 and a half minutes are my favourite, and I can listen to that part over and over again with the same feeling...HOLY WAAAAARS

2. Metallica - Master Of Puppets

AHA! You thought this one would make number 1, yes, I thought about it. But instead, MoP will have to make some space for another one. But hey, that doesn't mean MoP isnt good. In fact, Master of Puppets is so good, that I wouldnt know how the world would look like without it. EVERY single thing about this song is amazing. I dare you to find a flaw. Go ahead. I dare you.

1. Pantera - Cemetery Gates

Phil Anselmo, Dimebag Darrel, Vinnie Paul and Rex Brown. Oh gee.

Pantera has been one of my favourite bands since 7th grade, and I am so disappointed that I haven't been listening to them as often as i'd like. But here's their reward. This is my apology.

Cemetery Gates is the best metal song. From the first second, to the last, Pantera takes you on a magical journey of Hardcore metal riffs, from beautiful chords, ground breaking solos and magic dust echoing vocals(don't know what that means). It's just the most beautiful piece of work there is. If I was just a little bit more sensitive, I think listening to the song now would make me cry of joy. Yes, I'm pretty sure.

R.I.P Dimebag Darrel. The greatest guitarist ever. The heart and soul of Pantera. This is for you.

Viator goes youtube

So I finally got some decent guitar playing recorded, and thought I would throw them on youtube for you all to hate and love.

Check em out. I wont embed them here cause that'll take up so much room.

Master of Puppets Part 1

Master of Puppets Part 2

Blackened

Enjoy.

Honey I'm home! Top 5 Week 50

Have no fear, that wierd dude is here!

So how have you all been? Well thank you for asking I've been terrific.

The weekend was a complete success, and it was just the thing I needed to get my head straight(I can't tell for sure that my head was straight during the weekend though)

What I've been doing? Oh well, you a little bit of this, and a little bit of that. I won't bore you with all the details, although the details are juicy, to put it short, I went on a two-day party streak. It doesnt sound much to some of ya, but we didnt party sissy style either so.

And now here I am. Some places are sore yes, especially my neck, but that doesnt keep me from doing this!

So off we go to the sweet list of 5 things that have touched my mind in a way that makes me...makes me...wanna...umm...well makes me wanna put it on this list...Let's get to it!

.5 - Holy Wars...The Punishment Due

We start off with the song of the week. While crazy and hysterical Metallica and Megadeath fans bitch about which band is the best, I seem to find myself tuning into various songs of the two bands and start comparing. There is no 1 best band, they both have downs and ups, and depending on the song, you can't tell which band is more "thrash" than the other.

Anyways, I know most of you thought that I would be putting a Metallica song today, but no, thats not happening. Instead I want you kids to listen to this song by Megadeath, and perhaps we can come to an agreement that this is one of their best songs, and hell, perhaps the song of the week... I think so.

Megadeath - Holy Wars...The Punishment Due

.4 - Gingerbread cookies!

What is the best way to get in a christmas spirit?! Gingerbread cookies!

Oh there's no discussion in that gingerbread is THE christmas baking of all. Whenever you eat one, you think of christmas, whenever you see one, you think of christmas, whenever you smell one, you think of christmas and whenever hear someone say Gingerbread, may God strike me down if you don't think of christmas then.

They are part of christmas, perhaps one of the most important parts. Get to the stove, bake ém, buy ém I don't care, as long as you have some.

Gingerbread cookies/Pepparkakor/Piparkakkuja for those who need translation.

.3 - Sandwiches

Okay this may sound wierd. But I just ate one this morning and it was the best sandwich i've eaten in a loooooong time. It was dark bread, butter, cheese and peppered meat...oh my...just the thought of it makes me drool...

I don't know anything else to say about it...but sandwiches are good...part of life...

Please, for me, eat one today. I don't care what you put on it, as long as it's a sandwich. Thank you.

.2 - Christmas

Yes Christmas has climbed it's way higher now, and since we are all wrapping our head around it, Christmas gets what it deserves!

Get the Christmas decorations out! Everything! Design your furniture christmassy! Do all of the christmassy stuff you can do! Cause it comes once a year, and we owe it to Christmas to do whats right. Yes that's right.

Okay for those of you who don't know, the colours to go with are red, blue and green. White works too. My favourite combination is red and green, thats so christmassy.

Okay and now make a count for how many times i've said christmas or christmassy.

Get it right and you'll get a christmas present! Not from me though...

.1 - Hentai Heman and the gang

As much as it hurts my spirit to put that on the number 1 this week, I just have to do it.

There isnt a party without that Gang. And if there is one, it's not a party. Me and my buddy showed all that at saturday.

No more words need to be said. And soon, the party will begin again...

A shout out to the people of the gang who were present, Olli, Salla, Jenni, Sami and of course the main man, Daniel.

Btw there's a new expression for "taking a piss", and that's "dra en anttoni". Don't you forget it.

Top of the Mornin' to Ya

Oh how Irish we feel today. I don't know, but I think it's a big day in Irealand today...I'm sure some important irishman is having a birthday, or something similar. Just in case, i'll give a happy birthday to that lucky irishman! Happy birthday!

Neeext on the list....

Aha! I'm so sorry to tell you but I am going away for a couple of days. I'm going to stay at a friends house, which means I won't be able to get to a computer until sunday(monday if i'm not sober enough on sun)

I sure am hoping that when I get back on monday, that this weekend will have taught everyone a good lesson for the upcoming week.

Guess that's about it. Don't have anything else to say.

Remember! Drink up, smoke your lungs dry, party like its your last day, tell your loved one you love him/her, stay healthy, don't kill anyone and don't lay a hand on a kid.

There, some good 'ol wisdom from a guy...who hasn't got much!

NHL scoop

So I haven't been updating you folks with the NHL in awhile, and since that was a promise I made when I started this blog, I just feel awful for breaking it.

Which is why I'm gonna give you the biggest, fattest, most tasty, juicy and awesome NHL post today.

Okay sorry that was a lie too. I'm just gonna post some scores and predictions and of course some of my personal whining.

Philadelphia is sure looking hotter every week, last night they slayed Carolina in a 3-1 bloodbath.
Good news for finnish people, Kimmo Timonen scored a goal, and just because I like Danny Briere i'll give him congrats for a point in this game.

It must be tough for the guy. He's young, spent most of his hockey career in Buffalo, and now he's been thrown in last years biggest catastrophe team. But he's a good player, and Philly is in the divion lead... Makes you wonder... could Mr Briere have something to do with this?

Dallas Stars fell to Brodeur and his Devils, which to me is heartache causing news. Stars were on a six game streak, and now they just happen to fall to the pissant Jersey. Brodeur just happened to find his game, and play a good game for the last two periods. And the Stars just didnt have enough cojones to carry out more goals. As for the goaltendning on Stars front, Turco is really having a bad year. Please please get that old geezer out of there and put someone else. Smith or someone. Just get rid of Turco.
Again good news for finns, Jussi Jokinen scored a sweet goal. That warmed my heart a little.

Oh and what wouldnt be complete without mentioning NHLs little cinderella story.

Chicago Blackhawks. Geez have we been waiting for the rise of this team. Well if you haven't heard they pretty awesome theese days. They're on a winning streak, and they can snap that second division spot(Detroit is the lead). Patrick Sharp, and Jonathan Toews are the rookies of the year and they are playing better then most NHL veterans. Good riddance.
Martin Havlat returned last night and showed that he still rules, shoving in two pucks in the net.

Thats about it. The NHL is looking fine. They've all been good without me poking on them.

Now for my magic predictions.

Tamba Bay - Detroit ----- Oh there's no way Tampa will win this one. 4-3 Detroit

NY Islanders - NY Rangers ----- Ahhh the battle of NY. May the Lundqvist be with them. 4-2 Rangers

Nashville - Ottawa ------ Ottawa crushes the poor Preds. 5-1 Ottawa

Tomorrow we'll get back to the results. And let's make it interesting, If I get ANY of the predictions right, I'll go and get a haircut. Yes, thats my promise(you know how I keep my promises)

Over and in! (Hah!)

The Questionnaire of Bernard Pivot

So i've been watching theese Inside The Actor's Studio clips on YouTube, and it's been like a freakin drug and I love it.

I would loove to get all of the episodes in some way, but I've looked and it's hard.

In short, it's a show where actors and directors come and kinda "open up" and tell stories about how they got to where they are, in front of a audience that consists of acting/director students. It's really insipiring to watch it, and the interviewer, James Lipton is just the perfect man to do the interviews.

At the end of the interview, he asks the actors/directors 10 questions, and I thought of posting theese 10 questions here, so you can ask yourself them and have fun. They're quite fun.

1. What is your favourite word?
2. What is your least favourite word?
3. What turns you on/inspires you?
4. What turns you off?
5. What sound or noise do you love?
6. What sound or noise do you hate?
7. What is your favourite curse word?
8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
9. What profession would you not like to do?
10. If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

So, I thought i'd put my two cents in and give you my 10 answers to that

1. Gay (don't ask why)
2. Any finnish-swedish word.
3. Music
4. Arrogancy
5. My cellphone ringtone(Homer singing Spider Pig)
6. Alarm clock
7. Tough one... depends on the language. In swedish i say "fan" all the time, which is a curse word but doesnt feel like a curse word anymore, it's just a fill in between words and sentences.
8. Well my goal is to become a director, so if I was a director, other than that actor maybe...
9. Any fast-food joint.
10. I don't believe in God, or heaven, so I surely hope he would say...."Hah just kidding." And disappears.

Since this was so much fun, I thought i'd post this list with answers once a week. I know it sounds gay(yay), but I will certainly change my mind several times, thus making the answers different probably once a week. So, check back in a week for other answers.

Oh and feel free to post on the comments your own answers to the 10 questions.

Painkiller

Oh how I'm all about clips today.

Well I was listening to this song today and just said to myself; People who think they've heard greatest solos in the world...and haven't heard this one...may someone up there have mercy on their soul.

Anyways, this is Judas Priest - Painkiller, and the solo(s) are amazing. They start at 2:09, and strap yourself, cause its a hell of a ride.

Eddie Murphy <3

Oh yes. I've been searching for this clip for ages. And finally I found it.

If you don't know who Eddie Murphy is, i'd lke to know under what rock you've been living under, cause that sure sounds like an awesome rock.

This is from the movie Beverly Hills Cop, and in my opinion the funniest scene of the movie. Still cracks me up. It's a movie classic, so my advice is to see the entire movie.

Hopefully the clip will encourage you to do that.

Enjoy =)

Oh sweet monday - Top 5 Week 48

Again I know I'm a little late with the post today, but better late than never. So since there's not much else on my mind except for this beautiful list, let's get right to it.

. 5 - Jaegermeister

Of all the kinds of drinks that we constantly and shallowly pour into our mouths, I personally find that the Jaeger does the trick.

Most people don't really care what they're drinking, as long as it's strong and the quicker it gets to your head, the better. Which is in my opinion so sad. When you're drinking, you wanna enjoy it. Even though it tastes like crap, you want to really feel that taste, cause you're gonna be reminded of that taste later when you've poured the entire bottle.

Jaeger has it all. The taste, bitter, coffmedicine-like refreshing taste. In big portions can even tickle your throat a little bit, and of course, if served ice cold, makes you walk on heaven. To put a long story short, the best booze for shots, the best booze for gettin drunk, the best booze for enjoying being drunk, and most imporantly; The (almost)best booze for feeling like crap in the morning. Cheers!

.4 - Christmas

As we dig deeper in the list, we discover yet more interesting stuff.

I know Christmas isn't here yet, but still, it's time to shed some light on it. Christmas is defintely my favourite holiday of all. Only Christmas can bring you that wonderful, cuddly and warm feeling in heart, and at the same time make you so sick, hateful, stressed and panicked at the same time. It's quite something.

Santa Clauses everywhere, red balls, green trees, lights...Christmas here in Finland is basically like Vegas, except that we have snow here. And come think of it, now with the global warming and all, we probably wont have anymore of those wonderful white christmases. Thanks a lot Al Gore, you're a little late.

.3 - Master of Puppets - Metallica

Oh and how this was just bound to happen sometime. I'm sorry folks, but I just can't get enough of trying to spread the love that is Metallica. And to be more precise, to spread the love of the song Master of Puppets. It's got everything you would want in a song. The riffs, the solos, the bridges, the lyrics, the choruses...oh and how it all just comes toghether to being the BEST, yes, I said THE BEST goddamn song in the world.

Basically if you like Thrash, Metal, Rock, ANY of those genres, and don't find Master of Puppets to be the song of the week, then I really feel sad for you. I'm sorry, I just do.

I'll squeaze in a clip from the best concert ever (Seattle 89), when they played that song, and I don't think it has been played better, ever.

.2 - Family Guy

And deeper we go. This is a very underestimated show, being all the time overshadowed by The Simpsons. But if you like The Simpsons, and gave Family Guy a chance, chances are you'll like it.

Now sure, the "main character" Peter Griffin, is heavily influenced by the man Homer Simpson, and it's quite unfortunate, cause sometimes it feels that they are basically the same character. And thats an area where Family Guy may fall flat. However! Thanks to the other characters, Family Guy manages to stand on its own, and at some points even overpower of the greatness of Simpsons.

There's not much I can say, you just have to watch a good episode to fall in love with them, and for those who have seen it, and not liked it, chances are you watched a bad episode. Which is why i'll recommend one, and you'll promise to watch it. Deal? Sweet.

Okay so the episode that I find to be very newcomer friendly is

Family Guy - Season 2 - Episode 15 - Dammit Janet

Watch it.

.1 - Money/Cash/Paper/Stash/Greens/Bills/Dough/Sugar/Bucks/Currency

And soo here we are again. The king daddy. This should be your concern for the week.

Let's be honest. Okay, no bullshitting. What is the most important thing in the world? Whatever your answer is, look over there. Yes by the 1, and look the right of it, and imagine, if you had a case, which was filled with the biggest paper bill of your currency that you use, like thousands of them, would you not feel as the luckiest man/boy/guy/old guy/bastard/assface, or the luckiest woman/girl/lady/bitch/witch/hag in the world??

Cause seriosly, it's the key to all things in life. The thing is, you have to know how to spend it. If you don't know, then you wont find happiness. It's a key, use it right, and you'll find paradise. Use it wrong, and you'll open your personal hell. Ask almost any celebrity, they'll confirm what I'm saying.

This may have not been a "happy" list for some of you, but life sucks sometimes, and you just have to learn to live with it. Remember, if you'd be happy all the time, and never experience sadness or pain, how could you tell that you are happy?

Lovebirds!

Hello dear friends and foes!

Ahh what better than to sit down, relax, and write on your blog?

Well I can think of a lot better things, but since I'm right now out of those, this will have to do.

This is very hard, cause there are things that I would like to share with you people, then again I kinda don't wanna share em =P So this is a bit difficult...

But to sum up, life's great, and you don't want to take it for granted. Go out! Have fun! Hang out with friends, girlfriends! It's never too late to start enjoying your life.

And to conclude this....well pretty unnecessary and I think a little bit irritating post, I'd like to give a special message to a very special person, she is the most beautiful person in the world, and I got to hold her hand tonight, which meant more than anything. It doesnt sound much, but in the moment, it was.

If she's reading this, she knows.

Thank you.

Friday, November 23

It's a beautiful mooorning!!

Theeeee mooooornings heeeeere!

As said, the morning is here, and it's fuckin' amazing. Not only is it Friday, which means paaaarty, its also a great time of year, for me, and hopefully for you too!

Yes I may be extra happy today, and yes sure there is a reason, but in the words of someone who said this line, "My private life stays private".

Today's advice to everyone, is to don't worry, be happy, drink alot, keep music close to your heart and you'll do fine!

To honor today's beautiful day, I thought I'd show you all a live video, from the Kings of Thrash, from a gig in 1989(the best gig ever), and in my opinion the best live video i've ever seen in my life.

If you don't like it...well...ah I'm sorry I can't even threaten you cute people today. Happy Friday! =)

Snuggly

Well as we come closer and closer towards December, and the weather becomes colder and colder, we suddenly find ourselves much more indoors than outdoors.

Its too cold to go out and hang out with friends, and it's too warm to do any "winter" activities, so basically you're stuck with being at home(or somewhere else indoors)

Which finally brings me to the reason for why I'm typing this bullshit.

It's because since we spend so much time in front of the TV or the computer, nothing sure beats watching a good movie! Whether you're doing it alone in the dark on your sofa, or whether you're snuggling under a blanket with your loved one, watching a good movie can sure either put a big smile on your face, or make you cry and eventually making you feel sorry for yourself. It's all good.

So I thought i'd take this opportunity to recommend a good movie. Actually two movies. One movie for putting that smile on your face, and one for making you cry so much that if one tear doesnt drop, you are basically dead inside.

Movie 1

Simpsons The Movie

Okay basically if you are one of those sad people who haven't seen this one yet, now is the goddamn time. And for those of you who have seen it, hopefully theese words will make you wanna see it again.

Everyone knows I'm a big Simpsons fan, so it was no shock that I loved this movie. However, even if you're not a fan, there sure is enough silly comedy in here that will make you crack sooner or later. It's so fun to see a movie which is not afraid to make fun of itself, and even with the whole "movie-goer" type. They'll make fun of you for sitting in a theater, and they'll make fun of themselves for appearing in the theater.

If you've ever seen a Simpsons episode, and found yourself giggling to Homer's wise statements, Barts hilarious laughter and Marge's whining, you'll most likely giggle at this movie too. And giggling is good, giggling is very good.

Movie 2

Crash

Yes this movie is quite old(2004), but it's still one of the best movies ever. Not only is the directing fantastic, but the script is masterfully written, and the actors deliver them as if they were born to say them. It all fits. The story takes a stranglehold on you, no matter who you are, you'll empathize with them.

This is one of the few movies that actually made me cry, and I mean cry cry. And for a movie to have that kind of effect on me, that's something. Kudos for Micheal Peña, who sweeps all the other actors in his ever so touching scene.

Watch this movie. You'll thank me later.

Öhlund slashes Koivu

Okay I know im a little late with this report, but anyways for those who havent heard here's the scoop.

It was Minnesota against Vancouver, Mikko Koivu has the puck, tries to pass by Mathias Öhlund, SLIGHTLY and accidently Mikkos elbow hits Öhlund, and as the aggrevated Swedish little pussy that he is, he takes it like a girl and decides to slash Koivu(From behind, mind you) on the knee. What a low blow... Koivu was the second leading scorer on Minnesota Wild, and a the next to Pavol Demitra for best center.

Öhlund got a 5 game suspension for that....which also is so unbelieveable, that it hurts here**points at heart**, and here **points at the head**. The NHL needs to seriosly consider theese things more. Now Koivu is injured, as Minnesota suffers, we suffer.

F*** you Öhlund. May you rot in hell.

Monday, November 19

Monday!! Top 5 Week 47

Alrighty-roo its monday everybody!

Which means back to school, work, daycare, rehab, mental institutions...of course for those, you never go out...hah!

Well anyways since it's monday, and I know you kids out there have been waiting for this for an entire week(I'm very impressed) Here is the Top 5 of this week!

As usual, this is simply a list of 5 things which I think deserve attention, and you all would do well to give them the attention!

.5 - DragonForce - Through The Fire And Flames

At the fifth position, we have the oh so crazy power metal song, from the sick band DragonForce. First off, this song is included in the game Guitar Hero 3, and if you don't know what that is, check it out. This is known as probably the most difficult song ever to be in the GH-series, and i've seen it, and as a quite expert on GH as I am, yes, it's impossible.

Well thats only the GH version. For us real guitarists, checking the tabs of this song is quite the adventure too. And there also I can say, that it is impossible. The solos are crazier than Rusty Cooley. Now the riffs are doable, but other than that it's just silly.

As for the sound of the song, I quite like the intro to it, all the way to 00:39 the song is quite good, but after that it falls flat. My advice, dont listen to it more than that.

.4 - Jussi Jokinen

This is no suprise. Jussi Jokinen deserved a spot at the Top 5, and please lets all prey that he keeps shoving those pucks in this week too. Cause that kid deserves it.

Not only is he a penalty shot specialist, but he is potentially the best player in Dallas Stars, and the best finnish player out there. All he needs is ice-time, and the puck, and trust me he will produce. So please if any Dallas Stars affiliated General Managers, or maybe even you Dave Tippet, coach of Dallas Stars is reading this, please please if you want Jussi to get you to the playoffs, give him the space and ice-time he needs. Trust me on this. It's me after all =)

.3 - The Killers

When I first listened to them, I was SHOCKED! How come i've never heard of this band before? They may be very underappreciated, they get little credit for their amazing songs, but in my book, The Killers are a top notch band. The singer Brandon Flowers(hihi) has an amazing voice, and with the combination of their alternative-disco-rock and his voice, they come toghether as a band worth listening to.

Best song: Somebody Told Me

Thank you Stella =)

.2 - ESP EX-260/BLK

Yes. Here is daddys guitar. This is the one. Oh yeah.

After much consideration, and lots and lots of thinking, and many many headaches, and plenty of brain trauma, and a little medication, I have finally decided!

Now granted there were many to choose from, and there's so many things to consider when choosing your life partner. You have to think of the looks, the shape, the colour, the inlays etc.

And then, you have to think about the inside, the pickups, the material, the bridge and tailpiece, the electronics etc.

And so the crowned winner of this beauty pageant, is the ESP EX-260. Its got everything I would want in a guitar, and i'm fairly certain that we will live happily ever after.

Here's a pic for all you perverts to drool at. ESP EX-260.

Baby!!! Daddy is coming to get you!!!

PS. The donation process is still going, so feel free to throw your money at me. Seriously, I'm fine with it.

.1 - Homer Simpson

And now here we are. The king of the list. The reason for which all of you even took a look at this blog.

Homer Simpson. My idol. My hero. The only man...fictional man...who is so wonderfully stupid, and wise at the same time. I mean, I'm sorry I cant even describe with words how much Homer means to me. Heck, for all of us! Every Simpsons fan knows that feeling that we get, when we watch an episode, and Homer is in the picture, and we're all just waiting to see what kind of hilarious, stupid, wise, heartattack causing comment he's gonna deliver.

If only I could be half the man that Homer is, when i'm that old(no one even knows how old he is), that would be the biggest achievement of my life.

We all love him. We always will. No matter what he does.

And to conclude this weeks list, I am honored to quote the big man himself, a wise and important lesson for ALL of us.

"Here's to alcohol, the cause of -and solution- to all of life's problems!" - Homer Simpson

Thank you.

Sunday, November 18

This weeks conclusion

Well it's been quite a week. So many things have happened, I'm not even gonna mention them here. You know.

Tomorrow i'll get to the Top 5 of the week, which will include some things i'll want you people to keep your eyes on.

And also there is a special someone out there who i'd like to mention, cause this person is very special and deserves this sentence to be said, you know who you are ;)

So to sum up, good week, not as good for some of you, next week is right around the corner and my prediction says that its gonna be a pretty awesome week!

Of course if you have any faith in my predictions, you're way off matey. I'm sorry but this just had to be said.

Cya tomorrow!

JOKINEN!!

Oh yes, its about time this happened.

Jussi JOkinen scored 4, yes FOUR GOALS last night when Dallas crushed the Avs!!

It is a good day for finnish hockey.

Its a damn good day.

Kiitos Jussi.

Saturday, November 17

Rum....

Saturday! Or as we in Finland call it, Alcholday!

Okay kids, here's a very important lesson for you all out there. This may come as a shock, im sure you're just about now drinking this shit without realizing it...

But RUM is bad!!

Just had a drink, and let me tell you something, it's like getting a hangover in 10 seconds.

For those of you who love this shit, drink it like water every day, i've got something to say to you: Get help! And before that, tell me your secret in how you can drink this more than once.

For those of you who haven't tasted it yet, well i've got something to say to you too: TASTE IT! So you'll know how it feels! And i'll bet ya you wont drink it again....but if you do, read the above!

Kids there are much better things to drink, vodka, beer and even CIDER! Yes!

Now go out and have a fun saturday, drink 'till ya pass out, and get back to me tomorrow and tell me how you feel.

Friday, November 16

Zetterberg "swedish" penalty shot

This is something for all hockey fans around the world. If you havent seen this penalty shot, you have to see it.

Basically what Zetterberg does, is pulling off probably the most "swedish" deke that there is. Only real swedish players pull off theese kind of dekes. Amazing. It's the 6th Top Play. About 2.40 into the clip.

ESP guitars

So the seasons are changing, snow has started to fall here in Helsinki, the winter is here.

Christmas is just around the corner, and the time to change guitar has come.
I've been toghether with my Tenson Stratocaster for about 3 years now, and we both agree that it's time to see other people, for me, other guitars.

Now my buddy is considering buying the ESP M-200FM, which is a very nice guitar.
And for that price, its not too shabby. He's a guy who knows his guitars(mostly), at least more than me, so I might just "stjärta"(the best swedish expression of the word 'imitate') him and get the same one.

Well I've had my eyes on the ESP F-100FM , its a little cheaper, but again for the price, its not that bad. I like the shape of the F models, and with the 24xj frets, soloing is not a problem.

But im not much of a soloer myself, I prefer riffs, so thats why the ESP EX-260 is just my taste.

The EX-260 has got better pickups, LH-300 set, while the ESP M-100 only has LH-150 set. The EMG-ESP LH-300 looks sexier too, so that might be the one for me.

Thats just for the guitars, since I got my Strat with a sucky Tenson amp, like 15W, I think we all can agree that that's just sad. So the scouting for a new Amp should begin pretty soon too.

But not yet!

Guitar first. Always the guitar first. The guitar should be your soulmate, your life partner, your other half. Amps will come and go, but the guitar is for life.

ok...

Let's not get emotional here.

Dallas loose SH

son of a B****!! Dallas lost again.

In a shootout... and Jussi Jokinen failed to score a shootout goal...sad...so sad...

On a positive note, Jere Lehtinen scored a goal and a assist, and Niklas Hagman scored a goal.

F*** San Jose.

Last nights game.

So much for my genious predictions.

This was my bet:

Detroit - St.Louis ---- 3-1
Montreal - Toronto ---- 2-4
Calgary - Minnesota ----- 2-3

This was the result:

Detroit - St.Louis ---- 3-4
Montreal - Toronto ---- 4-3
Calgary - Minnesota ---- 3-2

For gods sake it had to be Montreal's first win against Toronto this year.

And St.Louis just had to put up a fight against one of NHL's best teams now.... just my luck.

Don't you just love spanish people...

So I was waiting for the bus today on my way from work, and this spanish tourist stood there and wondered. He approached me and we had the most prolific talk.

He spoke with a very heavy spanish accent.

Tourist: Is this bus stop?
Me: Si

Tourist: Number 110 bus here?
Me: Si

Tourist: Goes to Tapiola?
Me: Ah..Si

Tourist: Thank you, thank you.
Me: I do understand a little spanish...

Tourist: Ah! ¿Los autobuses sale con que frecuencia?
Me: umm......no.

He laughed his ass off while I stood there like a idiot. Spanish Dictionary anyone?

Tuesday, November 13

On different note...

San Jose blanked out Phoenix yesterday.

Thornton scored 2 goals, and got 1 assist. Amazing. Probably one of the best young veteran player out there. Although I feel a little bad for Phoenix and The Great one, I think he really deserves a couple of wins and a run in the playoffs.

But this is actually a good thing for players and coaches to know; You dont have to be a good player, in order to be a good coach. And you don't have to be a good coach, in order to be a good player. Gretzky is a perfect example of this.

Of course much depends on the players in a team aswell, but Phoenix roster isn't that bad. I am hoping they make it to playoffs this year. Lets cross our fingers.

Sidney Crosby... we're running out of words to describe this wonderchild.(there's one more)

Scored a goal, and got a assist in last nights game. He's soon going to pass Zetterberg in the scoreboard. And I wouldnt be suprised if he won the Art Ross Trophie this year too... Hope Pens get a better run at the playoffs this year too.

Predictions for tonights games:

Detroid - St.Louis ------- Clearly, Detroit will win this one. 3-1
Montreal - Toronto ------- Toronto is having a good streak going. 2-4
Minnesota - Calgary -------- Keenan isn't helping Calgary, Minnesota will bring em down. 3-2

Iron Maiden, next summer

So the tickets for the Iron Maiden concert here in Finland were all sold out in two hours...

And the tickets in Sweden(they play in Sweden 16/7, and in Finland 18/7), were sold in two and a half. Great..

And I sit here with none. Just fantastic. And a couple of my friends already got tickets...

Well screw them if there's a loving and trusting God up there i'll probably get my hands on a ticket through Ebay or something. I'll probably have to pay double, but for Iron Maiden, who wouldnt?

It is interesting how it seems that hardcore fans of theese NWOBHM(New wave of british heavy metal) only seem to like the old songs. Theese bands are desperately trying to make comebacks and release more albums, but still fans only want to hear the old songs on concerts. Well I agree with the fans.

Songs that i'd like to hear on the Iron Maiden concert? Ohhh lets see.....Prowler, Phantom of the Opera, Fear of the Dark, The Trooper, Aces High, Run to the Hills....the list goes on forever.

IF they decide to play Phantom of the Opera, please please play it at the speed like it was meant to be played. When they played it at Ullevi(SWE) 2005, it was so goddamn slow I bet half of the audience fell asleep.

Top 5 - Week 46

Okay it's monday, that means its time for Top 5 of the week! And since this is the first time, i'll easy you all in to what this is about.

The Top 5 list, is basically a list of five things, that I think deserve as much spotlight as it can get. Now granted, this is not the most visited webpage in the world, but at least it's something.

Remember, it's the gesture that counts! (sometimes)

.5 Yoghurt

Yoghurt

Yes, this is not an illusion, you are in fact reading Yoghurt! This is probably the most underappreciated nutritiunal and tasty...kind of food there is. And its so wierd, think about it, its not really a beverage, and its not like bread, its not consistent. Not only is it healthy, but it tastes very good. Imagine, strawberry flavoured, vanilla....ohh yeah. Basically if you don't like youghurt, stop reading and don't come back. That's right, I went there.

.4 Henrik Zetterberg

What is red, white, swedish and is making Detroit to love falukorv? Henrik Zetterberg

I'm not a Red Wings fan per se, but what "Zäta" is doing over there in NHL right now is just amazing. I can remember like 2-3 years ago, when people were talking about him, saying that he is a potential player, and everyone just sat and waited for him to light up and take charge. They waited, and waited, and now finally he's being the player he can be.

Kudos for Zetterberg. Red Wings f*****

.3 Niklas Bäckström

Well it seems only appropriate to put a finnish player right after Zetterberg(I'm swedish myself, but thanks to my mom I'm on the finnish side when it comes to sports).

Unfortunately there's been a lack of finnish starpower in the NHL lately, but since I just gotta do it, i'll give a shout out to Niklas Bäckström cause he's a big reason for Minnesotas uprising. Thanks Becker.

.2 Metallica

As time will pass, you readers will slowly realize that I love Metallica...quite a bit actually. Well I'm gonna be precise here, I love the old Metallica. Not only did Iron Maiden have the Golden Years, Metallica did too. From 1982 to 1992, Metallica were the kings of thrash, and even when I'm listening to them today, I still get chills of Hetfields whopping riffs and Hammet's beautiful solos.

.1 Fender Heavy Pick

The Number 1, king daddy of the Top 5 list this week goes out to the Fender Heavy Pick that I bought recently. Its basically the best pick i've every played with so far. I cannot even describe the feeling I get when I play riffs with this pick, it just feels plain right. If you don't own one, get one.

Oh and mine is a little thicker than that one. Just better.

The Portal Is Open!

Finally!! Well people after much consideration I've finally decided to follow with the trend of blogging! (I know, I was suprised too)

Here you will, as in most blogs, find as much unnecessary information as a human brain can take, along with some of my own comments of things that are happening in this blessed world of ours(yeah right..)

I'll try weekly to post a Top 5 list, of things that seem important for me to get out there.

Thats all for the introduction speech. Happy reading!
