Dream Set Lists, Part Four

Time to travel deeper!

Next in is Pantera!

Same rules and same shit!

--Intro--
1. Cowboys From Hell
2. Hellbound
3. Goddamn Electric
4. Fucking Hostile
5. Live In A Hole
--Intermission--
6. Hollow
7. Yesterday Dont Mean Shit
8. It Makes Them Disappear
9. Shattered
--Intermission 2--
10. Mouth For War
11. Walk
12. This Love
13. Cemetery Gates

Now that list will surely make the crowd as wild as it gets.

Dream Set Lists, Part Three

Time for Iron Maiden!

This one is more tough for me, cause I'm not that attuned with all of Maidens albums.

So this one will be a little shorter than 15 songs. But nevertheless, this concert will kick ASS!

Lets get going!

--Intro--
1. Prowler (The intro song is difficult with Maiden, but I think beginning with this will get everyone extatic!)
2. Charlotte The Harlot (great follow up, everyone singing along with the chorus)
3. Flight Of The Irus (it gets heavier. one of my favourite songs)
4. Wasted Years (another favourite, this one raises the roof)
5. Die With Your Boots On (A classic. This one before the intermission)
--Intermission--
6. Brave New World (one of the few "new songs", that are extremely good.)
7. The Trooper (This one give me chills. Everyone sings along with Bruce.)
8. Run To The Hills (This one should always be midway, everyone singing the chorus. Wonderful)
9. Phantom Of The Opera (another old classic. Bruce can do the vocals good.)
10. Remember Tomorrow (Love this song. We're closing in on the finish.)
--Intermission 2--
11. 2 Minutes To Midnight (Essential. Wonderful chorus.)
12. The Number Of The Beast (Peak of the show. Everone loves this one. The solos kicks ass!)
13. The Wicker Man (before the finish, we need this one.)
14. Hallowed Be Thy Name (The big finish. After this is done, its thank you and goodbye.)

Here you have the ultimate Iron Maiden set list.

Next in line... Pantera!

Dream Set Lists, Part Two

Alright next in line we have MEGADETH!

Due to the lack of clips around the internet with Megadeth live, this one is more difficult.

Though with my attuned senses I think i'll manage this anyway.

Lets get going!

Same rules apply.

--Intro--
1. Sleepwalker (United Abominations is hailed for a reason, best intro. Get everyone warmed up)
2. Rattlehead (Great followup. Keep em warm!)
3. Washington Is Next! (Another great from UA, Dave needs to do the vocals extremely well here.)
4. Mary Jane (one of my favourites. Love this one.)
5. In My Darkest Hour (last one before the intermission.)
--Intermission--
6. Trust (Everyone sings along. Epic song.)
7. Tornado Of Souls (With Marty, this one should knock them off the ground)
8. Hangar 18 (Solos important here, crowd getting wilder here)
9. Symphony Of Destruction ( great finish, now for the second intermission)
--Intermission 2--
10. Last Rites/Loved To Deth (great intro, great song. Crowd getting warm again)
11. She-Wolf (good follow up, closing in on the finish)
12. Rust In Peace..Polaris (with everyone singing along with the chorus, I'm getting wild just thinking about it)
13. Countdown To Extinction (The last minute is beautiful, crowd just waiting for the big finish)
14. Holy Wars...The Punishment Due (the big finish. After this is done, its thank you and goodbye)

Amazing list.

Now Iron Maiden!

Dream Set Lists, Part One

So I think all music lovers should have a dream setlist from their favourite bands.

Which means of course that I'm gonna post here my dream setlists of my favourite bands.

The rules are simple:

- 15 Songs Max.

- 8 Songs Minimum.

- They have to be in right order. Not just a random order. Imagine the band playing those songs in that particular order. Sometimes the order that the songs are in, can be a huge difference.

- One cover song is allowed.

So lets get going. I'll begin with the kings themselves, Metallica.

--Intro--
1. Blackened (The best song to start things up with. Mother of thrash)
2. Creeping Death (Nice followup, get the crowd going)
3. For Whom The Bell Tolls (Enter Sand... wait I mean Cliff)
4. No Remorse ( James vocals here should be outstanding.)
5. Ride The Lightning (Kirks time to shine)
--Intermission--
6. Nothing Else Matters (Just like 91, then this one will get the crowd in tears)
7. Welcome Home( Great song, and I think a proper follow up.)
8. Orion (With Cliff, this should knock everyone out.)
9. To Live Is To Die (the short version, with MoP right after)
10. Master Of Puppets (the peak of the show, you'll rather die before quitting now)
11. Battery (without the acoustic intro, to keep the audience on their heels.)
--Intermission 2--
12. Fade To Black (first warm up the crowd again, and Kirk shows off a little more)
13. Seek & Destroy (get the crowd all crazy again, fans singalong.)
14. The Four Horsemen (gets even wilder, now they are waiting for the finish)
15. The Call Of Ktulu (The last minute of the song should give that special feeling, "I never want this night to end". This song hits the final note, and its thank you goodbye."

Another dream setlist coming right up...next on the line is....Megadeth!

Heath Ledger...

This is one of the most unbelievable and shocking news i've ever laid my eyes on.

Heath Ledger...

http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/Movies/01/22/heath.ledger.dead/index.html

It wasnt until recently when I personally discovered his talent. Now I'm ashamed that I didnt notice him earlier.

His work on Brokeback Mountain was impressive, and his soon to be released work on the next Batman movie "The Dark Knight", where he potrays The Joker, this was gonna be his biggest performance ever.

This is so tragic... words can't describe this...

You may be thinkin "So what! People die every day. Just because he's a hollywood star, he should get more recognition?"

Actually, Heath was one of the few potential and GOOD actors in Hollywood. And most importantly he was a decent and good guy. I didnt know him personally, but I can tell. And a hell of an actor.

He will be remembered. Not only by the public, but by me too. When "The Dark Knight" releases, Heath must honored for that. I'm certain that the production will feel the same way.

This man, like many else, did not deserve death. Since its unclear exactly how it all happened, no more words need to be said.

R.I.P Heath Ledger

Frida...

So this came as quite a shock to me. As I'm writing this, my mind is going fiftythousand miles per second of thinking.

This bullshit may not seem interesting to you readers out there, cause this concerns only me, but I'd share this with you anyway.

Last night(the night that just was), I had a dream about a girl. No, not just a girl, THE GIRL.

She went in my class when I was in middleschool, and now all of the sudden, she popped into my dream.

I haven't thought about her in ages, and now she was in my dream, and we were talking and it all seemed so real.

Here's how it happened:

I was sitting in some kind of coffeeshop with a couple of friends. The coffeshop had large windows, so you could easily see the street and all that was happening outside. So we were sitting on the second floor, so we hade a quite nice view over the city(Uppsala, Sweden).

Then all of the sudden she walked by outside, and I immediately reacted. I knocked on the window, to see if she would react...and she did. She looked at me, as if she didn't know me. Then I started gesturing and then she recognized me. Then we both stood there, gesturing things to eachother(it was hilarious), then I ran down and met her in person. And we talked and talked.

The crazy thing is that we behaved excactly like we would have if we had met like that for real. Thats why it was so real. And I thought it was all really happening.

I'd like to think that dreams have a purpose. That they have a meaning. I didnt quite so much before, but now...this changes things. If there was any purpose for why this girl suddenly popped into my dreams, I'd very much like to know why. The fact that she was absolutely gorgeous doesn't help at all.

Tried to track her down with the internet, but I was suprised at how limited the internet really was. Well... I just hope that I get to see her someday in real life again.

And I hope that an explanation will come sooner or later as why she was in my dream. Could be a sign of something... who knows.

Anyways I just wanted to share this peculiar experience with you folks. Have a pleasent sunday!

"Two days to reincarnation"

Hmm

I bet you're wondering about the title for tonights post.

It's a quote. From where doesn't matter. Its just something that caught my eye.

They say that you become strong as a person, if you test yourself. Step over boundries in yourself, set yourself through difficult situations. Just mentally and physically challenge yourself.

That way you learn more about yourself, what you're capable of and not. Also as I said, it's an opportunity to grow as a person. Get some perspective.

What if... you were able to close yourself, mentally, and just focus on simple things. Do extremely basic things. Eating, sleeping, and other daily "must-do's". And just thinking straight. Close everything else out. Just doing the things that keeps you alive and breathing.

Not only would it be an interesting experiment(dangerous maybe), but it would require the time to do it of course. Since time is a thing I don't have(work), maybe you could try and make some adjustments and still be able to the experiment.

I am in the mood of testing myself, see what I'm capable of and not. See if I can grow as a person.

Theese are all speculations of course. I'm not set on anything yet. But just thinkin out loud makes it easier to think... if that makes any sense.

Well... I don't really know yet what I could do. Considering the lack of that kind of time. But I'm sure i'll think of something.

Well I think thats all for today. Gotta get up early tomorrow unfortunately so i'm gonna get some sacktime!

Hope you all have a pleasant Friday night, and tomorrow a crazy saturday!

I'll get back on sunday I hope.

Peace out...no War Out. Hah.

First impressions of old self

Hello dear friends and foes!

Long time no see eh? Well hope you all have had so far a pleasant week, we're heading towards the weekend soon and of course you all know what my thoughts are on weekends. Yes, the p-word.

Good. You know me quite well by now.

My new awakening, or should we say, my redemption(sounds so cool doesn't it?) is working out fine. Finally there's a lot of breathing space, and loads of freetime which eases the mind.

One thing does concern me.

It feels like all the pieces are coming toghether. Things are working out just the way they should. But as always, there's one piece missing from the perfect picture. And that missing piece is of course a partner.

Thats something that ALL people strive for. A partner. Someone to share life with. Because as they say, love is the strongest of all bonds. And it is the thing that keeps us going.

Now for my own part, a partner seems to be the last thing I need...but at the same time its the only thing that is left TO need. Which makes things very wierd.

Not bad. Not good either. Of course, at my age(just guess my age), a life partner can seem rather ridiculous. No i'm not THAT young, but young enough.

One thing is for certain though. When you do find someone, that special someone who can make your stomach tickle, make your face blush, make your heart bounce and make you do crazy things that you would otherwise never do...then you know you've found someone special.

It would be appropriate for me to say now, "And now the hunt begins..." But I can't. I don't want the hunt to begin. Not yet.

Women should know, that we men love to hunt. It's what we do. And even though a relationship is by far better, the constant crave for the hunt still remains inside us. Good or bad, thats just how it is.

Well enough babble.

This is merely me writing down my thoughts so I can get a good nights sleep. I urge you all to do the same, it can help.

Want some advice? Even though I don't know you, I swear this will be some kind of advice to ya.

"Lighten up. Don't take the things you take seriously, so serious. Life is still what you make it. You make it serious, it will get serious. This doesn't mean you shouldn't avoid consequences. Because they will always be there. Remember that."

And of course to top it all off...my motto, my quota, my thing that I say:

Life is what you make it. Nothing else. If you choose to sit on a sofa and watch tv, then thats how you make your life. Don't be suprised. If you choose to be out partying and getting drunk and not remembering where you wake up, then thats how you make your life. Don't be suprised.

Over and out my friends.

Have at ya!

Top 5 Week 3

Good Morning!

Nothing says good morning like a fresh Top 5 list of things you kids should be looking at.

Let's get to business.

.5 - The Joker

There's just something wonderfully evil about this "Father Of All Villains".

His moral values and his way of dealing with his enemies are just something that makes my spine shiver in joy. Don't take me wrong, I'm not wishing I was The Joker. Let's face it he's a comic book villain.

Nevertheless, he stands as one of my favourite characters ever. And even though he might be psychopatic, ruthless and insane... I think there's something we can all learn from him.

.4 - Björn Gustafsson

Over to something more cheerful. This guy is a rising star. He's a Swedish comedian and is rising. I've only seen him in a couple of clips of a comedy show. But i'd like to see more of him. He's got potential.

For all the swedish people, keep an eye out for him.

.3 - Megadeth

Oh how they just keep impressing me. After listening to their new album "United Abominations", one thing is certain: Megadeth just keep getting better.

When they first started out, they were awesome. All the way from "Killing Is My Business...And Business Is Good" to "Rust In Peace" they were on a roll with brilliant thrash albums. Then the downhill started, just like with Metallica.

But then something happened. Mustaine got things worked out with "The System Has Failed", and now with United Abominations he's made his point clear. Megadeth is back.

All that we can hope for, is that Metallicas new album will keep up to its expectations. Otherwise I'm gonna have to give the edge to Mustaine and Megadeth.

Right now all that matters is that "Washington Is Next!" is their best song yet. Thank you Mustaine for restoring my faith.

. 2 - 24 - The Series

I am ashamed that I didnt give this show a chance earlier. I remember when they started out, and how I just glared at it and chose not to follow it.

Now I just finished watching the first season, working on the second. And I am amazed.

You're thinking: "Oh my god what a loser. This show is so old."

Yes, loser or not, I love this show now. And for those who haven't seen it. Please by all means give it a chance. I gave it one, and I haven't regret it since.

. 1 - ESP EX-260

My darling. My baby who's waiting for me. I need her. She needs me.

But soon baby, soon we are going to be together. And if I have to walk through fire and hell to get to you, I'll do it.

Since i've decided to get back to my basics(see Back To Roots post). My goal for the upcoming months is to get her. And I will do anything I can.

I'll keep you posted with the progress. The day I have her in my arms, will be a day of eternal joy and glory... for me.

Have a pleasant Monday. See you later.

Back To Roots

Okay I know it's late but just a couple of words before sleep.

Lately i've been drifting, where I could not tell you. But it's been a hell of a ride, and i've taken a lot of beating because of it.

Of course, Life Is What You Make It. So there is no one to blame for my condition. Only myself.

We all make mistakes and misjudge. And we all can learn from it.

It's about time for me to visit my roots again. Get back to basics. Get back to the things that kept me going. My dreams. My goals. My wishes.

I really don't know what ticked me off like that. When several emotions collide, and you just end up confused that can pretty much rough you up, badly.

But thankfully i've woken up, and now there's no stopping me.

And it's gonna get classic. The good ol' Me. I've missed him for quite some time.

So if you're out there, hearing theese things... Know this:

I'm back. And you better watch out. A storm is coming your way. Something wicked.

Top 10 Live Performances

There should be three things that ALL bands should aim at, if they wanna be succesful.

1. stay true to their musical style
2. write/compose songs.
3. perform well live.

Three pretty basic things. You're probably thinking "is there any band that doesnt aim at those three?"

I'd like that answer too. The second is of course something that is kinda given, all bands are writing/composing songs, otherwise they wouldnt be a band.

When I judge a band, I look at those three things. If they fulfill those three things, they are a good band in my book.

I personally selected 10 bands, I tried to stay as flexible as possible, so hopefully you'll see a band that you like here. Anyway I took those 10 bands, found their best live performance, and then rated them after that. Since its very difficult to rate an entire concert, I decided to narrow it to songs instead. Some songs of a concert may not exist on sites as Youtube for instance, which makes it harder.

And also, when looking at a live performance, I look at a couple of things:

Spirit - The more excited they are, the more excited you get. Of course if they are overexcited, then it gets silly.
Playability - This is given. If they dont play it well and screw up, well its very difficult to like it. Even though it sounds easy, they've recorded it on studio why shouldnt they play it well? Nerves, difficult notes and pressure can get to even the biggest artists.
Fans - If they don't connect with the fans, fans have trouble connecting with them. And then its basically like wathing a music video.
Imagination - This basically means that you add a little "something" to some songs. So they don't all sound exactly like on the record. This makes the experience more unique.

The bands who were selected are: Linkin Park, Nightwish, Nirvana, System Of A Down, Dream Theater, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Queen, Rammstein and Rage Against The Machine.

Lets get started.

10. Nirvana - About A Girl (Live Hollywood Rock, 1993)

Its difficult to rate Nirvana concerts. For one thing, it's very rare to find any good material. Secondly, they never were a good "live" band. However, their strong songs, and Kurts amazing vocals definetly deserves props for being played live, and this one in particularly caught my eye.

There is a DVD collection of live Nirvana shows called "Live! Tonight! Sold out!"
If you are a Nirvana fan, check it out.

9. Rage Against The Machine - Bulls On Parade (Live At Woodstock 1999)

It's really a shame that they broke up. This band definetly was one of the biggest rock bands of their time. Specifically for their originality. Tom Morello with his wierd but fantastic solos, and Zack de la Rocha with his amaizing vocals. The lyrics too held strong.

It was hard, but I found one live performance that stood out from the others. Not only is Bulls On Parade one of their best songs, this is the best performance i've seen of it.

8. Dream Theater - Stream Of Consciousness (Live At Budokan 2004)

This performance doesnt check all of my criterias, but I have to mention this anyway simply because it sounds so amazing. Almost identical to the studio version, DT manages to play it masterfully in front of an amazed audience. And lets face it, John Petruccis solo is flawless. THAT is amazing.

7. Nightwish - The Kinslayer (Lowlands Festival 2005)

For a band like Nightwish, it's difficult to sound as good as they do on record. But here, they did a pretty damn good job. With Tarja on vocals, just before they split up, they give a awesome performance. And the spirit is all here. Love to see them play like this. Great song live.

6. System Of A Down - Chop Suey (Rock IM Park 2002)

If there's any band who can turn a spin on their live performances it sure is SOAD. Not only are they great performers, they aren't afraid to push it. Which makes it more enjoyable. You never know what you're gonna see. Simply put, this show was awesome!

5. Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody (Live At Wembley Stadium 1986)

Freddie oh freddie. He is was, is, of the best vocalists out there. And quite the showman. Even though Bohemian Rhapsody is one of their most famous songs, this performance has it all. And with the fans singing along, even I get a tear in my eye. Probably one of the most beloved concerts ever.

4. Iron Maiden - 2 Minutes To Midnight (Live Rock In Rio 2001)

It is pequliar that none of Iron Maidens earlier concerts made such a big impression as the newer ones did. However Rock In Rio was more than a awesome concert, it was a hallmark for Iron Maiden. Their most famous concert so far. I would have wanted to say Fear Of The Dark, just simply cause its my favourite song. But since we're judging live performances, 2 Minutes gets the edge. Bruce sings like a god, Janick and Dave flash with their guitars and Nicko kicks in the beat. Fantastic.

3. Rammstein - Du Riechst So Gut (Live Aus Berlin 1998)

Rammstein are one of the best live performance bands, overall. So its no suprise to find them in this list. Out of all the songs, and all the concerts, this song and this concert gets the crown.
Watch it to believe it. All the way from the start to the end, they give an awesome show. And the song is good too.

2. Linkin Park - Papercut (Live In Texas 2003)

The saddest story of them all. When "Minutes To Midnight" was released, I was so disappointed. The old nu-metal band that I loved, was gone. Live In Texas remains in my memory as one of the most fantastic concerts ever. I can not get enough of it. Chester and Mike show some of the most best vocal performances. The spirit is all here. How they jump on stage and show their love to the fans. I want to be just like them. Other bands should look at the concert, and learn a lot.

1. Metallica - Seek & Destroy (Live In Seattle 1989)

My unending love for Metallica has nothing to do with why they clinched the top spot.

Simply put: Metallica ruled Live performancing all the way from 85 to 92. They were the kings. I don't care what you say, they simply ruled.

The perfect example of this is Seek & Destroy, 1989 in Seattle. The audience were the most luckiest sobs in the whole world. This flawless and amazing performance proves the fact that Metallica were in their prime, the kings of metal.

Another song that should be mentioned, is Blackened. Same concert. Same spirit. Same awesome performance. Ah heck, the whole concert was the best concert Metallica has ever played.

To honor my idols, and to make your life easier so you wont have to surf on YouTube yourself. Here is is. Enjoy.

Top 5 Week 1

Oh yeah here we are again!

Man, feels like i've been doing this for a long time even though i've only been doing it a few months.

Well anyways, I think the year 2008 will be different. Not great, not bad, just different. Very different.

I'm not much of a fortuneteller, but I foresee that at least 2 or 3 great "global" things will happen, that will chock the world.

And as for myself, this year for me will be very nostalgic. Because I fear that this year will look a lot like one of my previous years. Which year, I will keep for myself. But I do think that things will play out more or less like a previous year in my life. Thats not bad, neither good. Just different. Refreshing might be a better word.

However, "Life Is What You Make It", so if you want this year to be a better year, then you just make it better.

Let's get to business.

.5 - Bullet For My Valentine

About two years ago I was a big fan of them. Their music was so inspiring back then, I used to listen to nothing but BFMV. Then they just slipped my mind. But fear not! I have not forgotten you!

Just now I'm listening to the album "The Poison", veeery nice. So props for theese guys.

Lets hope that their next album will hold up the same class. I'm expecting a lot from them so.

Recommended songs:

The End
Hand Of Blood

. 4 - Rammstein - Live Aus Berlin

As I said, this year will be very nostalgic. This is one of my favourite Live concerts i've ever seen. Theese show masters are one of the best live bands ever, and their music is one of the finest.

This concert was probably one of their biggest, and was a milestone of their career. This was their peak. Ever since their two newest albums, they've been falling a little, steering too much into something completely different from their previous albums. Which is why I think they've lost their magic touch.

Thankfully this concert is still alive. And just watching how Till screams the lyrics of Herzeleid and Engel still gives me chills down my spine. Do me a favour, watch this concert. Wether its on DVD or YouTube, this is one you cant miss.

. 3 - Eric Cartman

I know what you're thinking. That i'm one of those guys who worship Cartman for his foul mouth and his immature behaviour. Well you're right. I worship him.

What is Cartman really? He is exactly how young boys WHISH they could be. He says all the things we wanted to say when we were young. Maybe even sometimes we said them.

Cartman stands for every young boy who just wants to live life the way he wants to. And if he has to screw with his friends to do it, he will! The guy who does the voice for Cartman should be awarded an Emmy for it.

My favourite quote?

Cartman uttering the most beautiful phrase ever to his teacher. Guys lets face it, if we had the guts, and didnt care about the concequences, we would LOVE to say this to our teachers.

"How would you like to suck my balls, Mr Garrison?"

. 2 - BOSS MD-2 pedal

I got this baby for christmas. And she is a beauty. I get chills from the unbelievable sounds she makes. Words cant describe it, so I really don't know what else to say. She's my baby.

One thing is a shame though, she runs on batteries atm. And let me tell you, she draws that battery power like a waterfall. So I have to get a AC Adaptor quick, otherwise the pleasuring will end pretty quick.

Here's a picture of my beauty queen for you to drool at. Keep your pants on!

. 1 - ??????????????????

Okay, so this might be a little confusing.

Here are a few words, that I hope will paint a clearer picture of what I'm trying to say.

You came from nowhere, and shined a light
I was blinded, yet I felt delight.

When you looked upon me, I swore I saw a angel in white
Wish I could share my soul with you, even just one night.

Even though you aren't mine to touch
I swear one day, I will love you so much.

So far away, my feelings grew.
Maybe some day, you will love me too.

If you are out there, in a bliss somewhere
Know with all your heart, that I care.

I'm not implying anything here. Theese are just (hopefully) beautiful words. Now if they are meant for someone, thats for me to know, and you to not.

Lets say this, this is meant for all of you. Yes, you too!

Take care gummybears!

Aftermath 2

Ahh...

Drinking, crying, heartbreaks, hangovers, crushes, backstabbing and drama. It must be New Years.

Sorry for the absence, I've had my mind on so many things, this blog just slipped my mind.

However I promise that this post will be a long and good read...so you might wanna print this and take it to the toilet with you. A good read.

Where do we start?

New Years was good. I had plenty of fun. And all in all, it was a success. Even though there were some unfortunate incidents, the fact remains, New Years was good. Because there is no perfect way to have fun. Every single time, that a person feels completely successful, another one feels a complete failure.

It's all bout balance. The Yin and the Yang. Up and down.

One of my most favourite quotes, which I think many people at least in their younger age would learn a lot from, is this "Don't get too attached to anything. Because when you do, it will feel a lot worse when you loose it. Eventually you will. Nothing lasts forever."

Theres plenty to learn from that. Of course this doesnt mean that you shouldnt get attached to anything. Sometimes you have to. You have to create bonds with people and things. But if you tie that too hard, and become too dependent on it, loosing it will feel like hell. And thats an unnecessary feeling.

I admire those people who go through life, making themselves happy, who do things maybe doesnt benefit others, but themselves more. It's not a bad thing to care about yourself more than others. We are all humans, and we all need to feed our ego. It's just the amount thats different. Some people need more, some less.

But think about this, if you can't take care of yourself, can you really take care of anyone else?

No. Probably not. This is why I think most people are depressed, sad, suicidal and just generally dont feel good about themselves. Because they take too little care of themselves.

If you would, once every day, do two or three things that make YOU happy, and no one else, I promise that it will make your life better and easier.

Helping others isnt a bad thing either. However, if you're not in good shape yourself, helping someone else might do more bad, than good.

Lets say you're in need of help. Whether its physically or mentally. You need someone. Maybe even someone just to talk to. Who would be better to talk to?
Someone who has their life in order, knows how to take care of themselve, someone who knows how to be happy? Or someone who's life is NOT in order, who worries about things, who cares about everyone else except themeselve.

I'd rather have that person who's happy and takes care of himlsef/herself. Because that person knows, if anyone, how to make YOU happy. Or atleast point you in the right direction.

So let this be a lesson for all of you out there who feel unhappy. You can't start the year 2008 more better than this.

Take care of yourself. Do things that make YOU happy. Try to think where you want to be in life. If you worry about others too much, you can easily forget about yourself.

Have patience. When things happen, that are out of your control, try to not worry about that. Because worrying about things that are out of our control, is just unnecessary. Why do that? If you cant affect anything, then why bother?

Time heals all wounds. Be patient, wait, and you'll see that things eventually work out. One way or another.

Thats all from me today. I hope this has been a good read. I'll get back tomorrow with a Top 5 list, since monday and today were a little special.

Hope you all have had a very good New Years, and that you all have recovered from any hangovers or injuries you might have sustained.

Take care.
